That's one of the reasons Alwyn and I did our guide, to have something that actually represents the game as it is now. Is there a chance that a general will stay loyal even tho he is part of the opposing party or will every general that leads an army 100% also rebel once their party breaks off?Ī lot of the political guides, including the official one, are out of date as they were never updated when CA Sofia completely overhauled the politics system. My faction leader doesn't have high enough authority to adopt anyone either. If the opposing party was to break away now, 2 of my 3 armies would turn hostile and I couldn't even recruit a new general since all available characters are of the opposing party. Lastly, who should I let lead my armies? I want to avoid giving characters of the opposing party large armies, but so far I have not a single available character that supports my party. Should I keep increasing it or try to boost the opposing party? Some 20 or so turns in I now have 75% influence. In my current co-op campaign I play Sparta and stated off with 72% influence. But the more influence I have, the better bonuses I get for my campaign, and I find no reference ingame that having higher influence could result in negative consequences. Online in the official politics guide it says that there should always be a balance between all parties. However I don't quite know what level of influence my ruling party should aim for. I've read your guide and it's cleared up many things. I am aware that this is a very old post, but I hope asking questions is still fine. Think we missed one?
